Ugh Snow!

This picture was taken on the day that we got 18 inches of snow. I came home from work and couldn't get in the driveway so I had to park out in the street and when I had to walk into the house it came all away to my knees. It was not fun.
This picture was taken after dad used the snowblower. You can't even see the car. He was out for 1 and 1/2 hours cleaning.
This picture was taken today to show how the sun is finally starting to melt the snow. We still have a way to go. I can't believe tomorrow is March 1st and we only have a couple of weeks before daylight savings start again. Bring on the sunshine and warmer temperatures. We're ready for Spring at this household!!

Tidbits

Just to let you know that Kerry came home today and he is doing pretty good. He will have bypass surgury in a few weeks they want him to rest and build up his body . He's already bored Elaine really has to take it easy.

Also, Gail called me the other night and told me that Kelly is engaged and going to get married in July. She also said that Carolyn is dating a boy who she knew from high school and he has two little boys and she might get married also in the near future.

Colin

Thanks for that note you wrote to me. It sounds like you had a great day yesterday for Micah's birthday. I bet you enjoyed the rock climbing. I heard that you reached the top without no problems. You are getting so big and I' m proud of you with all the choices you are making. I"m so excited that you are going to be in cub scouts. I know that your dad really enjoyed it when he was your age. You have a good week in school and if you get time write to me again. I love you.....grandma

Making cookies

Well, it was my turn to take care of the grand kids on Sunday while Chad and Nicole went to their parenting class. I decided to keep the kids busy so I took cookies and we baked them and decorated them. I even remember to bring the camera that you gave us for Christmas and here are the pictures of the cute kids having lots of fun. I told them they had to decorate them all before they ate them and that's exactly what they did. It was a fun night to spend with the grandchildren.

I will try harder to do better in keeping this blog going. Colin , write back to me on this blog.. I would love to hear from you..
